Platform Support Matrix
The current default host is x86-64 Linux. Other platforms require explicit
support rows, gates, and release evidence before they can be claimed.
The machine-readable matrix is docs/platform-support-matrix.tsv.
| Area | Status | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| x86-64 Linux self-host | implemented | make selfhost-guard |
| x86-64 Linux direct ELF | implemented | make backend-parity-closure-check |
| Linkable objects and archives | implemented | object/archive/linker gates |
| WASM-shaped lowering | implemented | make unified-ir-wasm-check |
| Local loopback cluster | implemented | make distributed-cluster-check |
| Physical target claims | evidence-gated | make physical-hardware-evidence-check |
| External certification approval | external | certification authority evidence |
Physical Target Claims
Physical target claims require firmware hash evidence, secure-boot evidence,
flashing receipt, monitor trace, recovery trace, HIL campaign, and operator
signoff. The repository default inventory does not claim an attached physical
board.
Unsupported Platforms
Unsupported platforms must be documented as unsupported or evidence-gated.
They must not appear as current production support in public tutorials.
